Yup, I am sick!!!

And the manifestations of such an illness are bizarre indeed!

 I take many photos of ice ...

and snow....

(on the mountains)

 (on the back deck)

 (on the trees)

(at the mailbox)

I take photos of the birds at our feeder...

 (when they are impatient)

(when they are patient)

and 

(when they are just plain skittish)

I enter contests on blogs...

 most I don't :-(

I make messes....

and look for vacuums to clean up said messes...

and I do clean...

ad nauseum!!

I hide a lot 

in my sewing room and studio...

doing what you might do in a sewing room and studio...

thread painting...

quilting....

making patterns...

making more patterns...

art journaling...

and occasionally 

sewing my bathrobe into my stitching...

I am predisposed to wearing my bathrobe over my clothing in the winter...

and I whine about the weather!

a lot!!!!!

I am still looking for a cure!

OOOHHH... It's baaaad....

my crafter's ADD, that is!!!!!

Since I have been back from our vacation to paradise (well, okay, Arizona!),
I have NOT been able to stop sewing!!!!!

It is really baaaaaaaaaddddd.....

The iron has been sizzling....

(....oops! there is barely any place for me to do any cutting of fabric....)

The fabric has been flying.....

(...that is my ironing table under there....)

The sewing machine has been whirring....

(...ummm.... that is my sewing table, just to the right of my machine....)

It seems that I have about a million projects...

stirring around in my brain....

and I am just trying to get them all out on fabric!!!!

I think this is chronic and the end is nowhere in sight!!!!

I can't do laundry, I can't wash dishes, I can't vacuum, I can't cook
(though I seem to be able to stop to eat)!!!

Don't send help!

No, I am not really trying to get your attention! (Don't I all ready have it?)

Some how... I have developed laryngitis!!!!



So, the owner of our LTS (local tea shop) recommended some 'Sing tea' mixed with some lemon myrtle tea...

which is doing a pretty good job of keeping the irritation away!

But for a person like myself who can do her share of gabbing... yakking....chin wagging... chewing the fat... shooting the breeze...it sure is a tough burden to bear!!!

So I will just sit here and admire Teenager's latest oil painting...

(isn't it awesome?! The class is donating their paintings of the Hudson River to the nearby Double H Hole in the Woods Camp)

watch the wildlife that comes by our house...

and sew a stitch or two!

Whine!

Whine!!!!



This morning.... so early... I woke up with a screaming sore throat! Seems that Teenager is sharing her germs with the family (how generous of her!).



But somehow, I popped in two ibuprofen and a cup of coffee and managed to drag myself to the gym for a 3.25 mile run. That was all I could muster... Whine!


By midday, my nose was running like a faucet left on.... oh, woe is me!!!



ACHOOOOO!!!!





Still, I wanted to dye some red and orange fabric so....



between tissues, I managed to prepare 12 bottles, some with various amounts of red and others with combination of red and yellow to make up 8 Tbsp of dye solution in a bottle.




ACHOO!!!!!!




and between tissues, I am managing some quilting....
