Here's a story...

Once Upon A Time...

in a land not so very far away,

there was a papa pig...



a mama pig....



and a baby pig (born almost 3 months ago!).



On a fine spring day, the family decided to take a walk around the family room



and then snuggle up for the evening (ahem)..

and soon, the mama was eating all the porridge



and getting quite big!

So she lay in bed waiting...

and waiting...

and soon Papa and Baby Pig said, "let us in, let us in!"



And Mama Pig said, "my patience is wearing thin, very thin."

And then, in the early hours of the morning (yesterday, to be precise),

she huffed, and she puffed...

and then, she gave a big grin...

And that's the way they all became the PIGGY Bunch...

(yes, I used to watch Carol, Mike and the Brady kids!)

Who has time for crafting with all this excitement?!!!

my patience wears thin!

(the beginning of this 'change of life' thing is already very old!!!)

Everywhere I go now, 

be it at home or around town,

when something flits by

I instinctively duck!

Having a bat in the house at night is unnerving,

though lucky for Nature Boy, 

I was able to dismiss our last visitor all by myself!!!!

And then,

once again, I spotted another ground hog
(that makes 3!)

in our backyard...

so close to our relocation crate too!

They seem to be growing in number like rabbits around here!

And I think Phyllis, Nature Boy's beloved guinea pig,

is probably thinking the same thing too!!

"I'm tired of being pregnant...

look at my large belly, my double chin... 

am I going to have stretch marks after this one... or is more than one?"

Maybe..

I really am just getting old!

Everyone is doing very well!

Unfortunately, we were not in town when this fluffy bundle arrived....

(believe me.... we kept waiting and waiting and waiting....)

but she definitely has her Daddy's hair and her Mommy's coloring!!!

As for me, the Bubbie (or maybe the great-Bubbie??),

 I took the requisite photos of the new babe and even held her 

(at least, Nature Boy and Sugarbaby think it is a girl)

and then it was back to the sewing room for me!!!

I have been playing with Lutradur in my spare time...

cutting pieces of it and experimenting with water soluble crayons..

which I then sprayed with water....

or spraying the pieces first with water

and then painting them with Pebeo Setacolor transparent paint

or some Jacquard Lumiere fabric paint as well.

Family!
