The sights and sounds of a Hawaiian Luau held downtown last night to celebrate the 49th anniversary of Hawaii becoming the 50th state of the union (which just happens to be quite a ways from here) and to recognize a 19th-century native of the city who married a Hawaiian princess and became a prominent philanthropist in the islands....

ReplyDeleteoooooh, you get me excited because I have all of that to look forward too!! Spring is just around the corner for us - YAY. I can understand you loving Summer with those 4 months of snow you mentioned coming up - brrrrr, it was lovely for a day trip but I cannot imagine living in it - I like my heat!! Enjoy what s left of summer and showing off that gorgeous new bag!!!
