Longwinded (?) lazy weekend...

well, only a bit lazy! My youngest and I took our booksout to the backyard and lay on the trampoline for awhile, reading (I am enjoying Water for Elephants), soaking in some rays (it was 80 degrees!), chatting (we are good at that), and looking at the world around us.
Won't be long before the trees are all flowering!
I got my latest Country Living magazine this week

and I looooove these dishes!!!!! I mean polka dots and green- yahoo!
I am finished the doll quilt for the swap! I love it and wish I had one for myself!!!!

Front....

and back...
and a close up of the quilting....
Now, I need to move on to another project!

But before that, I had to make another wonky house for my growing collection...

and try one of Sarah's wonky flowers! Thanks for the tutorial!!!!
I promised my youngest that I would include her latest drawing in my blog....
I think it is great!!!!

  2. Hey! Your DQS3 quilt looks great! I decided the swap before last that I was involved in that I would start making two. One for me and one for the swap. I was always a little sad to see them go.

I need to get started on my houses for the lazygalquilting class. Yours are great!
