ReplyDeleteOh, your quilt is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat walks on four legs, then two legs, then three legs?
A person (crawling, walking, walking with a cane)
Oh I can hardly wait ... it just has to be me!
ReplyDeleteMy riddle for the day... You are in a house. All 4 sides of the house have a southern exposure. A bear walks by. What color is the bear?
It's White. If all 4 sides of your house have a southern exposure, you're at the north pole!
Must be a polar bear!
Love the quilt! The colors of my kitchen that we are redoing. WE went from blue to red! Love it!
ReplyDeleteSorry, no riddle..i'm coming up blank.
Have a super day!
What a cute little quilt and I've never made one in those colors, either! Okay....a riddle....
ReplyDeleteWhat question can a person ask all day long, getting a different answer each time, yet all the answers are correct?
Answer: What time is it?
Pick me! I'm a newspaper writer and I made my own b/w/red quilt. Here's a northern hemisphere joke on a frosty Manitoba winter day: Where does a polar bear keep her money? In a snow bank!

ReplyDeleteLove the wonkiness and the backing is fab.
ReplyDeleteI gave up riddles when I retired from teaching primary school. The kids have lots of old riddles and you have to pretend you don't know the answer. Lol.

ReplyDeletemy head is too full of how beautiful that quilt is to think up a riddle. No...I can't think of one - all I have is how much I want that quilt!!!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
Here's my favourite joke (told to me by a student)
Why does a chicken coop only have 2 doors?
Because if it had 4 doors, it would be a chicken SEDAN. hahahaha.
(the student was in grade 12; I think it was the only clean joke he knew)
I want that quilt!
ReplyDeleteWhat did the angry tomatoe mother say to her little tomatoe when she smacked him for lingering behind during their walk?
"KETCHUP!"
Love the little quilt! I'd love to win it, but I'd also love to make one some day... Here's the first riddle that popped into my head, proving that I have the sense of humor of a 12 year old boy....
ReplyDeleteWhat's a four-letter word for intercourse that ends with the letter K?
"Talk"!
I wish I were clever, but I'm not. No good riddles here.

ReplyDeleteAs I'm a grammar-nerd, I like this one:
A Panda Bear walked into a resturant. He sat down at a table and ordered some food. When he was finished eating, he took out a gun and shot his waiter. He then left the resturant. After the police caught up with him, they asked him why he had killed the waiter. He replied, "Look me up in the dictionary." What did the dictionary say?
Panda: Eats, shoots and leaves.
Hi Lisa...I think it's my turn to own one of your wonderful works of art!
ReplyDeleteSorry, no riddle this morning. Hope that doesn't lessen my chances!
Please add my name to the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWhat did the jack say to the car?
Can I give you a lift?
Yes, I'll be the winner, please! :)
ReplyDeleteThat mini looks great, Lisa.
Um, I know 1 riddle but it's really not appropriate to post publicly (it may offend some readers).
The weather is supposed to be great here in CNY. Hope you get a chance to enjoy it!
