My riddle for the day... You are in a house. All 4 sides of the house have a southern exposure. A bear walks by. What color is the bear?

It's White. If all 4 sides of your house have a southern exposure, you're at the north pole!
    Must be a polar bear!

  5. What a cute little quilt and I've never made one in those colors, either! Okay....a riddle....
What question can a person ask all day long, getting a different answer each time, yet all the answers are correct?
    Answer: What time is it?

  6. Pick me! I'm a newspaper writer and I made my own b/w/red quilt. Here's a northern hemisphere joke on a frosty Manitoba winter day: Where does a polar bear keep her money? In a snow bank!

  8. Love the wonkiness and the backing is fab.
I gave up riddles when I retired from teaching primary school. The kids have lots of old riddles and you have to pretend you don't know the answer. Lol.

    Beautiful.

Here's my favourite joke (told to me by a student)

Why does a chicken coop only have 2 doors?

Because if it had 4 doors, it would be a chicken SEDAN. hahahaha.

(the student was in grade 12; I think it was the only clean joke he knew)

    "Talk"!

  31. Oh, so pretty!

    As I'm a grammar-nerd, I like this one:

A Panda Bear walked into a resturant. He sat down at a table and ordered some food. When he was finished eating, he took out a gun and shot his waiter. He then left the resturant. After the police caught up with him, they asked him why he had killed the waiter. He replied, "Look me up in the dictionary." What did the dictionary say?

    Panda: Eats, shoots and leaves.

It's on my blog. I'd love to win your cheery log cabin. And thank you for all your charitable quilting.
