Technical Difficulties

See anything??????????

Neither do I.

My camera seems to be gone. Last seen on top of my car.

Sigh.

The first gift I purchased for my future-in-laws (20 years ago) happened to get set on top of a car (loooong story) and I ended up having to purchase a new gift. Shoulda learned then, huh?

  1. Oh I do that all the time! I lost a basket full of wine bottles to give to my future parents in-law! Yet I was lucky I left those on the footpath, not the roof! I hope its hiding from you!

  2. Oh no!! They should put a "items-left-here-may-well-be-lost"-sticker right where you put stuff... I did that too once, with my purse!! Luckily someone stopped me before I made it out of the parking lot...

  3. What a shame!!! I have done that with sun glasses before. Hope it was insured.

  4. at least there was no drinking involved? i'm so sorry you lost your camera! it means so much to me to have that connection with my internet friends. I do hope you can find a replacement, even a cheapo for now. I like living through your eyes.

I wonder if your camera and my licence are in the same ditch somewhere? (I discovered yesterday I lost my permit-license probably on the weekend while I was inebriated.) OOOOOOOPS!!

  5. Sorry this happened to you as you take such great (and often fun) photos. Luckily, putting stuff on the car roof has never been one of my habits....although I have many other habits that aren't so great!

  7. Oh I'm sorry. What a bummer. I have thrown away (on accident) 3 quilt tops in my day. And 2 didn't even belong to me. That was a very sad day. I hate when things like that happen.

  9. Hey, if it's a Sony Cybershot, then there's hope. Considering how my daughter abuses hers, it could definitely live through a tumble from the roof at high speeds.

    I'm so sorry Lisa... :(

  12. I did the exact same thing last week! I found it later that night when I retraced the route I'd taken and fiund it in the middle of the street. Sadly, it had been run over and broken. I was able to save the memory card and battery, though, so all was not lost. I'd only had the camera since the summer. Boo hoo!
