Beauty and the Beach

My sewing room is heating up as is the temperature outside.

But I have been working on these beauties...

New York Beauty blocks, that is...
Not as striking as my first attempt...

but they are going together much easier.

And to cool off, we headed to the beach, where Messy Marvin

and Sloppy Sister

did their own creating.
And we finished the day off with some ice cream.

Stay cool!!!!!

  7. I recently finished a NYB quilt and they are fun to work on, but quite tedious. Your block piecing is wonderful and your fabrics so cheerful.

  8. Looks like fun just making the NY Beauties! Want to trade stashes? I hear the SewExpo is in town and you may need your wallet as your favorite vendor is sure to be there!
The kids made some awesome designs with the water & sand.
