No - it is not possible to have too much thread. I posted on my blog on May 5th that I had over 120,000 yards of quilting thread. I didn't count my sewing thread. I will take inventory at the end of the year and see how much I use this year and be ready with a list of what colors I need to replinish just in case I come across a sale.
absolutely NO since I never seem to have the right color I need for any given project! how is that even possible?? ;) PLUS I keep every spool to the very end with the thoughts that I will use all the little bits for hand work- HA!
Probably not...but I just cleaned out my thread stash and am ready to donate some fuzzy nylon and embroidery threads to a good cause. Let me know if that cause is you.
