Okay, I get it! It's winter!!!!

I can feel that the holidays are approaching!

I received this cute house ornament from my flickr friend, Sarah, yesterday...

with all the log cabin, dotty goodness I could wish for!!!

We have started some baking...

and I am still working on some gifts...

But, I have to tell you, I am getting sick of all this winter outside!!! It is Sunday afternoon, and it hasn't stopped snowing since Friday noon!!!!

I don't even bother getting out of my pajamas to shovel anymore!!!

I get it!!! It's winter!!!!

and this is a short video I took this morning on my digital camera outside our house to show all ofyou snow-deprived bloggy friends how the snow is flying in upstate NY!

  1. Hi Lisa,
I grew up in SW Quebec -- 16 miles north of the Quebec/New York border, so I know whereof you speak with regard to snow! Remember snow days home from school, ice storms, back yard hockey, lots of snowmen and tobogganning...

Stay warm, keep stitchin' and have a great Christmas!

  2. Ugh...that is WAY too much snow for me!!! I don't blame you for not getting all dressed to go out to shovel.....not like anyone is going to be driving by to socialize with you in that kind of weather!!! :)

  3. Love the house ornament, love the gifts you are still working on and am "almost" jealous of the snow. I just got back from shopping in my shorts and tshirt ~ maybe a compromise in the middle would be nice. Stay warm and happy holidays!

  4. Uuugh thanks for reminding me that we have to go and shovel....again. I am so sick of shovelling! Our snowblower died and is getting repaired. With 3 days left on the warranty! Thank goodness! Snow is supposed to stop soon but we shall see, right???

Oh, and I LOVE the house ornaments you two have been making! I should do some. Once again, you're an inspiration!
