......you may as well sew!!!!!!!!
This was done by 4:30 AM and then I headed to the gym for a 4 mile run on the treadmill (best time ever... 35 minutes, 48 seconds... go figure!!!)
Dilemma.... border???? no border?????

You're the second blog I've read to do with "middle of the night" sewing. I love houses and that's one cute quilt. I see a narrow inner border of a bright color and then a black and white wider border. Just sayin' but it's certainly cute just the way it is.
ReplyDeleteohhh I love this quilt, those houses are gorgeous.
ReplyDeletehmmm I say no border.
Love it! I think just a bright binding would be nice. Then again, so would a border! I'm a lot of help, aren't I? ;)
ReplyDeleteLove it! Very cute! My vote is for a border. I'm impressed by your running time. It takes me a lot longer to run 4 miles. Well done!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I hope you can get some sleep soon, though!
ReplyDeleteLove it....love it....love it! Border? Hmmm....I say a wide, bright, solid color. But, whatever you do, it will still be a true work of art. Now go take a nap!
ReplyDeleteit looks great now, but I'd vote for a border too. got any lime green for an inner border?
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! It looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteMy vote would be for a border, but a pieced one, to match the scrappy backgrounds of the houses.
blue/green piano keys???
ReplyDeleteWow, your sewing room is a wreck! LOL! Love the houses. Great job.
Looks like enough house to be a city-state and you know that every one of those has at least one border. ;-)
ReplyDeletelove it! border? yes, black and white stripe, like

Just popped into my head... ;-)
love it!
Oh my goodness! I love it!!! (The quilt, that is, not the 5 in the morning run on the treadmill). It looks fantastic. Have you decided on borders? I think it needs to be 'framed' with something. The black and white stripe? Definitely.
ReplyDeleteOh, love it love it love it ♥
Wonderful! I love it.
ReplyDeleteWow! You have serious sleeping issues! However, the quilt is fantastic, well worth staying up for!

Border/no border? Hmmm, that depends: how were you planning to bind it?
ReplyDeleteI'd be tempted, though, to add more black & white, maybe pieced? And I like the idea of lime green binding...
I vote for a border. Seems to me a little more fabric would frame the blocks - which are SO cool, by the way! And not chop them off right at the edge.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the running, too!
Goodness Gracious this quilt is fantastic! Oh my. I totally love it. ooxx`jodi
ReplyDeleteIt looks fabulous! Congrats on that run! You are such an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love it as is! Who needs sleep!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have always thought you didn't sleep with the amount of stuff you get done....! and yes..if you can't sleep you might as well sew....I love the quilt....I am thinking a bright peeper border with a darker one to frame it...but I am sure it is probably all finished by now! LOL...have a great weekend...keep running..keep stitching!......oh...and get some sleep!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love this quilt. I like borders for some reason.
