At first glance I was more partial to the second version, but on further inspection the movement in the first one does make that more exciting, I think. I made it as far as a tablecloth once with this technique (it's in my Flickr album) but chose such a bright green to accompany the hexagons that it almost hurts your eyes to look at it...<br />Thanks for your lovely comment about my collage :-)matheahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06518597257571179776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3920527878825804700.post-68007641187080336032010-06-03T11:20:34.850-04:002010-06-03T11:20:34.850-04:00I have that book but have not really played with i...I have that book but have not really played with it yet. Door # 1 was a Hawaiian print that became a welcome table runner for a friend from Hawaii. #2 was a bed-sized quilt. After making all the hexes, I decided I hated how 1 of the 3 colors in the print looked, so I gave them to a friend who made multiple donation quilts out of them. Batch # 3 is still in the UFO bin.<br /><br />Sorry. I bet you wanted helpful advice.Marjoriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09426062040438565996noreply@blogger.com
